For the first time in years, I'm bringing the Lauren Fair Workshop to a domestic location in summer 2024! Join me in beautiful Newport, Rhode Island for a stunning Gilded Age, coastal inspired workshop. Two full days of education and shooting with the Gatsby-era mansions and inspiring coastal textures as the backdrop? To say I can't wait would be an understatement! Designed for wedding photographers looking to uplevel their photography, dive deep into what makes a business successful, and are ready to join the luxury market - our workshops are a special place to learn, shoot and gain community.

The LOCATION
Join us at the incredible Glen Manor Estate in Newport, pictured above, for the European inspired, manor home images of your dreams. It's a stunning, ivy-covered mansion on the coast with beautiful arches, waterfront access, gardens, hydrangeas, and inspiring backdrops. Rain or shine, it has beautiful backdrops for shooting that will inspire you for our main Wedding Shoot. We'll also have a secondary Sailboat shoot location!
Newport is an incredible location with countless stunning venues on the water, but Glen Manor is something truly special.
The DETAILS
You can expect our shoots to have incredible fashion, styling, and florals! We're working with Baciare Events to create a breathtaking Amalfi Coast / Italian Summer inspired "Wedding Weekend" with killer fashion. Small shooting groups and a leisurely pace will ensure a relaxed setting.
Newport is a jewel along the East Coast, with rocky coastline, countless Gatsby-era mansions, the famous Cliff Walk, beaches, incredible coastal restaurants, and many premier wedding venues. I've wanted to host a workshop here for years, and I'm thrilled to bring you along to one of my favorite destination wedding locations in the USA.
THE DETAILS
For the first time EVER, we'll be giving you a full "Wedding Weekend" of luxurious shoots. Night One will include a beautiful white sailboat for couples portraits with fabulous fashion at a "rehearsal dinner" Amalfi Coast inspired stylized dinner tablescape.
Day Two will include headshots by Lauren before lunch, with a full Italian Summer inspired wedding styled shoot in the afternoon and evening. These two shoots will bolster your portfolio with incredible content to appeal to multi-day luxury wedding weekend clientele.

Is the workshop for all experience levels?
Lauren Fair Workshops are for photographers who have a business - whether new or established - and are confident in their basic skills, but are looking to truly uplevel their business, dive deeper, raise their prices, reach big goals, and gain a fresh perspective.
Is this workshop for film or digital photoGraphers?
Both! All photography styles are welcome here. You don't need to shoot film, or even have an interest in it, to attend. Digital photographers and non light and airy styles are welcome and encouraged!
WHAT's THE INVESTMENT?
The investment in the Lauren Fair Newport Workshop is $6,500 Early Bird (Before May 31) or $7,200 Regular Rate (After May 31).
Just $3,250 secures your spot. The final payment will be due 40 days prior to the workshop.

Can I get my images published?
Yes, you can! Attendees are welcome to submit their images from our shoot once the planner / stylist has submitted theirs. We can't wait to see your work published!

To put it simply, Lauren walks the talk. This content is coming to you from someone who has built their business from nothing (Craigslist weddings for $500) to a globally recognized luxury business with celebrity clientele. There's a lot of fluff in the wedding industry, and Lauren cuts right through it to deliver practical, business-changing content to transform photographers' growth. Not to mention, our shoots are famous for providing the MOST beautiful content in a relaxed environment, to bolster your portfolio and presence in an incredible wedding market.
TRAVEL DETAILS
- While Glen Manor House, our host venue, does not have the ability to stay onsite, we will provide the recommended affordable and cute hotel we always stay at in Newport! We will be happy to pair you with other attendees who'd like to partner to room together.
- Please plan on arriving the evening before the workshop if needed, as we'll begin promptly at 9 am on July 24. We'll wrap up with a lovely Farewell dinner on July 25, so plan on traveling home the next day if coming from out of the area.

My photography business began in college, when I bought my first DSLR camera to visit my sister studying abroad in Florence, Italy. I fell in love suddenly, all at once, and irrevocably, with the art of photography, and I've never looked back. It's a love affair that has never faltered and I am honored to share my love of this beautiful craft with other photographers.
Since then, I've been honored to shoot hundreds of beautiful couples, grace the pages of top magazines like Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, People Magazine and more, work with celebrity clientele, and be named one of the top photographers globally by BRIDES.
